Adult Training: 

Adult CPR
Four hour program covers rescue breathing, first aid for choking & CPR for the adult (victims 9 years & older).

Community CPR
6 1/2 hour program covers rescue breathing, first aid for choking & CPR for Adults (victims 9 years & older) as well as Children (victims 1 yr. to 8 yrs.) and Infants (birth to 1 yr.).

Community First Aid & Safety
8 hour program covers rescue breathing, first aid for choking & CPR for the Adult (victims 9 yrs. & older), Children (victims 1 yr. to 8 yrs.) and Infants (birth to 1 yr.) and includes first aid. First aid component includes how to care for bleeding, burns, shock, poisoning, injuries to muscles, bones & joints, etc.

First Aid Basics
A four hour stand alone first aid program that includes how to recognize & respond to victims in an emergency. Students learn to care for injuries, shock, burns, injuries to muscles, bones & joints, poisoning & sudden illnesses.

Workplace Training
A 6 1/2 hour course designed to give individuals in the workplace the knowledge & skills necessary to recognize and provide basic care for injuries & sudden illnesses, including using an automated external defibrillator (AED) for victims of sudden cardiac arrest until advanced medical personnel arrive and take over.

'Til Help Arrives
Presentation for companies or community groups. Designed for people who want an emergency action plan but do not want to take a formal first aid course providing certification.

Automated External Defibrillator (AED)
Two hour course teaching the precautions and general steps for safely using an AED, including rationale for early defibrillation and the role of CPR in cardiac arrest situations.

Review/Challenge Format
Review - Students participate in an abbreviated course which reviews and allows practice of skills knowledge before testing.
Challenge - Students participate by completing written and skills testing only. There is no guided practice or review.

Youth Programs:

Babysitters Training
This 7 hour course teaches youth 11-15 yrs. the best ways to be safe and responsible babysitters. Program covers leadership, safety, basic care, first aid and professionalism. Skills are learned via video, lecture, hands on training in holding, feeding, diapering and practice of life saving skills, rescue breathing and first aid.

Basic Aid Training (BAT)
For youth ages 8-10, program features safety information and first aid procedures for breathing difficulties, bleeding, poisoning, burns, shock, water safety, injury prevention and personal safety.

First Aid for Children Today (FACT)
For youth ages 5 - 8, programs six lessons cover first aid, healthy living habits, personal safety, injury prevention, road safety, and health for the environment.

Longfellow's Whale Tales
For youth ages 5-12, program teaches non-swimmers an understanding of hazards around the water and how to avoid them.

ACT Smart
For grades K-12, program delivers age appropriate educational information about HIV/AIDS. Emphasizes making good choices (drug & alcohol) and building self esteem.

HIV/AIDS Education
Provides reliable, factual information about HIV infection taught by a specially trained and certified Red Cross instructor.

Preventing Disease Transmission
A two hour training module for employers and employees who, while on the job, may be exposed to blood or other body fluids that could cause infection.

Scrubby Bear
Program teaches through video and activities the proper hand washing techniques & how to prevent sickness by spreading of germs.

Instructor Course

Fundamentals of Instructor Training is a Prerequisite to the Instructor Training Course.

The purpose of the Presourse is to demonstrate that you have the necessary CPR and First Aid skills and is a requirement.

All sessions of the Instructor Training Course must be attended unless arrangements have been made with the Instructor Trainer.

Cost of the class is $145.00 and includes all materials.
