Under the Volunteer Now Menu Bar you will
find 3 links important to you as you begin your volunteer
experience with our chapter. This Getting Started link will
provide you with an overview of the volunteer process, the
Volunteer Opportunities link focuses on different areas
of interest and job descriptions that clarify expectations
and key responsibilities, and the Background Check link
connects you to a separate secure web site to complete this
required check before you begin volunteering.
The first step however is to communicate
with our chapter staff that you are interested in becoming
a volunteer. We will send you a volunteer application.
Upon receiving your completed application we will call you
to set up an interview and brief orientation that will include
information on training that may be required.
Without this communication, names
of individuals showing up in the background check processing
que that we do not recognize will not be processed.
