The
Southwestern Illinois Chapter of the American Red
Cross is responsible for Disaster Response and Preparedness
Education, Health & Safety Training (CPR &
First Aid), HIV/AIDS Education and Awareness, Service
to Military Families, and support for Blood Drives
for all of Madison County, with the exception of the
Collinsville, Granite City, Nameoki, Venice (and the
southern two-thirds of) Chouteau Townships. It also
serves the Bond and Calhoun Counties. In addition,
our chapter also has a Medical Assistance Program
that serves Collinsville Township, Greene, and Macoupin
Counties, in addition to the aforementioned areas
(except for Bond County). The Southwestern Illinois
Chapter was formed on February 22, 1998, as a result
of the merger of the former Alton-Wood River and Madison
County Chapters, both of which, were chartered in
1917. Please select a subject from our menu board
